Schedule:

  • 8-hour rotating shifts: 06:30–15:00, 09:00–17:30, or 11:00–19:30
  • 40 hours per week
  • Weekend coverage and call are voluntary, offering an excellent work-life balance
  • Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited RN program (BSN preferred)
  • Valid Registered Nurse license for Pennsylvania
  • Current BLS and ACLS (must meet AHA standards)
  • Minimum 2 years’ prior OR experience (six-month in-house Operating Room course provided if needed)
  • Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated emotional resilience under pressure
  • In-depth understanding of AORN perioperative standards
  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate perioperative care across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op settings
  • Maintain and update individualized plans of care for surgical patients
  • Ensure creation and maintenance of a sterile field
  • Document clinical findings, interventions, and patient/family teaching
  • Keep up to date with current perioperative practices, equipment, trends, and ethics
