Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shift, with weekday mid shift starting at 10:45 am
  • 3 on-call shifts within every 4-week rotation
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exemplary perioperative care using the nursing process, adapting to meet the needs of each patient
  • Maintain clear communication with patients, their families, and team members to promote relationship-centered care
  • Practice within current clinical and ethical standards, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes
  • Document and coordinate patient care effectively across interdisciplinary teams
  • Mentor new staff and students as a preceptor, supporting professional growth within the department
  • Actively participate in ongoing professional development and performance improvement initiatives
  • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Associates in Nursing or Diploma required; BSN preferred
  • Minimum 2–3 years of recent OR circulator experience in a multi-service operating room environment
  • Excellent critical thinking, collaboration, and time management skills
  • Skilled at functioning in fast-paced settings and during emergencies
