Schedule:

  • Travel assignment, with shift and hours details available during the interview process

    • Working in a bustling emergency department, you'll gain experience in managing a wide spectrum of patient needs and cases, from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions, while collaborating alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and reassess patients’ physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs within established timeframes
  • Develop, review, and update individualized care plans for each patient
  • Safely administer and document medications/treatments per hospital protocols, including monitoring for effectiveness and adverse reactions
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation, ensuring compliance with core hospital standards
  • Educate patients and families adapting instructional strategies to their assessed needs
  • Communicate actively with physicians and healthcare professionals, supporting quick responses to changes in condition using SBAR techniques
  • Uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and infection control policies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and emergency response activities
  • Perform advanced assessments and prioritize patient care efficiently in a fast-paced setting

    • Desired Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with Emergency Department nursing experience
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications required
  • TNCC, ATCN, or CEN certification highly valued
  • Proficiency in managing patients across the lifespan
  • Strong documentation, communication, and clinical skills
