As an Emergency Department RN, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, encounter a diverse patient population, and gain valuable exposure to a variety of leadership styles and workplace cultures. Your time here not only boosts your resume, but allows you to make a significant impact in a fast-paced setting, equipping you for advancement in your nursing career.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shifts, 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend required
  • Stable night assignment (no rotation)
  • Occasional float and low-frequency day rotation if requested
  • Qualifications:

  • Current RN license
  • Minimum 2 years recent emergency nursing experience
  • Proficiency in assessment, documentation, IV therapy, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point-of-care testing, splinting, patient education
  • Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
  • Experience using EPIC ASAP EMR preferred
  • Certifications:

  • American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
  • NRP and TNCC strongly preferred
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver skilled, compassionate care to patients of all ages in high-acuity situations
  • Prioritize patient safety and accurate documentation
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, case managers, and support staff
  • Remain adaptable to departmental needs, including floating to various units when necessary

    $2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
