Responsibilities Include:

  • Deliver specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and related procedures
  • Monitor and assess patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure for changes in status or complications
  • Collaborate closely with cardiologists, technologists, and support staff to ensure optimal procedural outcomes
  • Administer medications, start IVs, and manage moderate sedation as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
  • Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license (state compact eligible)
  • 1+ year current experience in a Cath Lab environment
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring, conscious sedation, and emergency cardiac interventions
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to new settings
