Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active RN licensure
  • Previous experience in a Cath Lab setting
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular and hemodynamic monitoring
  • Proficiency in assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures (angiograms, stents, pacemaker/ICD placements, etc.)
  • Competency in administering moderate sedation and supporting emergencies
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and patient advocacy skills
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications

    • Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after Cath Lab procedures
  • Assist physicians with cardiac catheterizations and related interventions
  • Continuously assess patients for signs of complications, responding promptly to emergent needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation throughout all phases of care
  • Provide clear education and support to patients and their families
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
