As a travel healthcare professional in South Portland, you’ll work in a state-of-the-art operating room environment, collaborating with leading professionals and being exposed to a variety of surgical specialties. This assignment is a chance to add valuable, hands-on experience to your resume, while learning from diverse approaches to patient care and team dynamics in a Level 1 trauma setting. Schedule/Hours

  • Day shifts: 7:00am – 7:00pm
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week
  • Weekend requirement: 1 in 4 weekends, 12-hour shifts
  • Trauma call: One overnight call (11:00pm – 7:00am), with schedule adjustments for specialty teams
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of Level 1 trauma ORT experience
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
  • Comfort with equipment: Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot
  • Experience with general, GU/GYN, ortho trauma/joints, neuro, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, dental, and endovascular cases preferred
  • Flexible, accountable, punctual, strong team player
  • Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care as assigned in the operating room with 1:1 patient ratios
  • Support a variety of surgical specialties with precision and professionalism
  • Participate in trauma call rotations and operate within specialty team protocols as necessary
  • Adhere to established safety protocols and hospital guidelines
  • Wear provided teal hospital-issued scrubs for every shift

    $1,936 - $2,048/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
