This role will place you in a large, fast-paced main operating room with 16 modern suites, exposing you to advanced surgical technology and diverse, complex procedures such as total joints, spine, transplants (kidney/liver), robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics. Schedule/Hours:

  • Shifts: 7A - 5P
  • On-call required on weekends (with 8-12 assignments per 8-week period)
  • No set permanent schedules; self-scheduling after first round
  • Desired Qualifications:

  • Current certification from DORA and NBSTSA (required)
  • Ability to respond on-call within 30 minutes
  • Minimum 3 years of experience (highly preferred)
  • Special consideration for experience with transplant and/or spine procedures
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Support perioperative care in a busy OR environment
  • Assist with a wide range of surgical procedures utilizing the latest equipment and surgical methodologies
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including experienced surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists
  • Uphold strict adherence to unit and hospital policies
