This assignment places you in a dynamic, high-acuity Medical-Surgical/Telemetry environment with a focus on stroke and neuro patient care. You'll work side by side with experienced healthcare professionals, gaining valuable exposure to diverse clinical methodologies and innovative leadership styles. Schedule/Hours:

  • Day Shift, 12-hour shifts
  • Every other weekend required
  • Holiday rotations as needed
  • Orientation: 24-32 hours (includes classroom and unit training)
  • Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Active RN license with minimum 2 years of recent Stroke/Neuro experience
  • 3 years of experience preferred
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications—all required at submission
  • Passing EKG test (documentation required)
  • Willingness to float to like units as needed
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care to stroke and neuro patients in a fast-paced MS/Telemetry setting
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, respond to emergent changes, and document assessments accurately
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Integrate evidence-based practices in patient management and clinical decision making
  • Flexibly adapt to new teammates and settings through floating assignments
