This travel nursing assignment offers invaluable exposure to a large, Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital, a Chest Pain and certified Stroke Center, serving a varied adult and geriatric patient population. Here, you'll collaborate with seasoned professionals, sharpen your critical thinking in rapidly changing environments such as the Advanced Decision and Triage Unit and satellite med-surg/tele units, and gain insight into multiple leadership and care delivery models. This is an excellent way to broaden your clinical experience and boost your resume.

Schedule:

  • Choose between 7a-7p or 7p-7a shifts
  • Scheduling cycles every six weeks
  • Weekend rotation: every other weekend
  • No call, holiday rotation required
  • Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum two years of Med/Tele RN experience (travel experience preferred)
  • Proven competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, stroke/trauma care, IV/PIV starts, chest tube/NGT management, and medication drip management
  • Epic EMR experience a plus
  • Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adults and geriatric patients with conditions such as COPD, CHF, pneumonia, trauma, and stroke
  • Interpret and document telemetry, administer medication drips (cardiac/heparin/blood products), and perform complex clinical skills (trach, drains, tube feeds)
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including hospitalists, intensivists, CNAs, RTs, and resource nurses
  • Float within defined regional hospitals as needed, always within your scope of practice
