Schedule/Hours:

  • Shift times: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
  • Every other weekend rotation
  • Possibility of low census call; flex accordingly
  • Holiday coverage: Travelers work 75% of holidays
  • 6-week schedule cycles
  • Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 18 months Med/Surg or Telemetry RN experience
  • Open to first-time travelers eager to grow
  • Current RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and routine non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone)
  • EPIC EMR experience (minimum 6 months)
  • Strong IV start, wound care, and Med/Surg skills
  • Willingness to float to regional facilities as required
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient loads with varied acute diagnoses (average RN: 1:5-6 patients, surge up to 1:7-8)
  • Deliver high-quality care including medication administration, IV therapy, and monitoring
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and adjust to diverse settings
  • Provide compassionate, efficient care and adapt to fast-paced observation units

    $1,579 - $1,728/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
