As an RN with Medical-Surgical (Med Surg/Tele) experience, you’ll thrive in a supportive, team-oriented environment and work alongside skilled leaders using advanced technology such as the Epic EMR and Alaris IV pumps. This travel role provides exceptional opportunities for professional development, including collaboration with experienced hospitalists, gaining valuable cross-facility exposure, and engaging in best practices for stroke care, critical assessments, and more.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts, 0700–1900 or 1900–0700
  • Every other weekend rotation
  • 75% of holiday shifts required
  • No on-call
  • Schedule set every 6 weeks
  • Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • 18+ months recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience preferred
  • Active, unencumbered RN license
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certified
  • Proficient in Med/Tele skills: Stroke/NIH assessments, chest tube management, PIV starts, cardiac rhythm interpretation, NGT and drain management, cardiac drips and titration, blood products, and PCA pumps
  • Prior EPIC experience a bonus
  • Willingness to float within region as needed
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Administer medication drips, blood products, and manage complex patient cases
  • Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, including CNAs, RT, and Hospitalist staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
  • Support and mentor peers, engaging with a positive, team-driven culture

    $1,579 - $1,728/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
