Qualifications/Experience:

  • Valid, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum one year of recent Interventional Radiology nursing experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
  • Prior travel nursing experience is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced, ever-changing environments

    • Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care for patients before, during, and after IR procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
  • Monitor vital signs, maintain IVs, administer medications, and respond to emergencies as needed
  • Document all patient interactions and procedural details accurately
  • Educate patients and their families regarding IR procedures and recovery processes
