Schedule/Hours:

  • 5A – 5P shifts

    • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license, in good standing
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
  • Strong Phase 2 recovery experience is required
  • Pre-op experience or ability to support pre-op processes preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year recent PACU or similar experience highly desired

    • Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert care for pre-op and post-op patients in a 9-bed pre-op and 5-bed phase 2 recovery setting
  • Monitor and assess patient status, administer medications, and coordinate care transitions
  • Support outpatient procedures: endoscopy, cath lab, CT, blood transfusions, infusions, EKGs, and procedural blocks
  • Collaborate with a cohesive nursing and ancillary team using the latest equipment including Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG, bladder scanners, and more
  • Adhere to unit policies, maintain excellent patient ratios (1:3), and meet on-call requirements within a 30-minute response time
