Schedule/Hours:

  • Will take call

    • Eligibility/Qualifications:

  • Active RN license (compact or Ohio)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ recent CVOR nursing experience
  • Must possess knowledge of heart and lung transplant procedures
  • Cardiac operating room experience required
  • Scrubbing skills highly valued
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities

    • Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert patient care throughout heart and lung transplant surgeries
  • Support surgical teams with circulating and, if able, scrubbing duties
  • Uphold rigorous safety and infection control standards
  • Participate in on-call rotation, responding to emergent cases as needed
  • Communicate effectively with cardiothoracic surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Educate and support patients and families through critical procedures
