Your role in this high-acuity, Level 3 Trauma center offers exposure to diverse patient cases and advanced technologies, such as the latest EMR systems and rapid transfusion devices. Collaborate daily with experienced intensivists, respiratory therapists, and a dedicated multi-disciplinary team, expanding your clinical knowledge and developing new leadership skills to elevate your practice. Schedule:

  • Weekend rotations: Every other weekend
  • No on-call requirement
  • Holiday scheduling: 75% participation expected
  • Up to 6 days of RTO (excluding holidays; contract may be extended to accommodate time off)
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ current ICU nursing experience (no first-time travelers)
  • Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Proficient with critical care infusions, invasive lines, ventilator management, wound care, and cardiac rhythm interpretation
  • Responsibilities:

  • Manage ventilated and critically ill patients
  • Respond to trauma, overdose, and stroke cases within a fast-paced ICU
  • Contribute to interdisciplinary care coordination
  • Float within the region as needed, providing exceptional patient care across different settings
