Qualifications:
• Completion of an accredited CVOR Tech or Surgical Technology program
• Active, valid certification and state licensure as required
• Recent CVOR Tech experience in a hospital or surgical setting
• Familiarity with a variety of cardiovascular surgical instrumentation and procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and thrive under pressure

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist surgeons and clinical teams during complex cardiovascular operating room procedures
• Prepare, maintain, and account for sterile instruments and supplies
• Ensure all equipment is set up and functioning correctly for surgeries
• Collaborate with RNs, anesthesiologists, and surgeons to ensure patient safety
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and infection control standards
• Document procedural activities accurately and promptly
