Qualifications:

Certified Sterile Processing Technician credential or equivalent required

Proven experience in sterile processing within a hospital or healthcare environment

Solid knowledge of infection control practices and sterilization standards

Comfortable handling, cleaning, and distributing surgical instruments and medical equipment

Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail

Ability to collaborate closely with nursing and clinical teams

Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings or nights as needed

Key Responsibilities:

Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize instruments and trays for surgical and clinical procedures

Maintain documentation and tracking of equipment through all stages of the sterilization process

Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards at all times

Perform quality checks to guarantee the safety and readiness of equipment

Collaborate with nursing and surgical staff to fulfill urgent requests and routine workflow demands

Support inventory management and proper storage of sterile supplies
