School Registered Nurse (RN) in Cambridge, MA

Step into a meaningful part-time opportunity supporting a high school student as a dedicated RN! This contract position is perfect for a compassionate and skilled school nurse who is looking to make a significant difference one day a week. Beginning August 26th and running through June 15th, you will work onsite on Fridays, 8:30am-3pm, serving as a 1:1 nurse for a student with Diabetes Insipidus at a recognized high school setting.

Bring your school-based RN experience and expertise to a focused caseload where your attention and care are essential. You’ll help monitor fluid intake, assist with restroom support (the student uses a wheelchair and requires ambulation help but handles toileting independently), administer a noon dose of medication, and carefully observe for any signs of sodium imbalance. Reliable transportation is necessary, as you will meet the student at their school location each Friday.
