School Registered Nurse (RN) Position – 2026/2027 School Year Indianapolis, IN

Position Details:
Start: Early August 2026
End: Late May 2027
Full Time
Onsite
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Responsibilities:

Assessment and response during medical emergencies while remaining calm under pressure

Care for students experiencing seizures, including use of a Vagal Nerve Stimulator (VNS) and administration of Diastat

Tracheostomy care and ventilator support

G-tube and J-tube management

Asthma treatments, including metered-dose inhalers (MDIs) and nebulizer treatments

Additional school-based nursing procedures, medical interventions, and prescribed treatments as needed

Education and Certification:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana

Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)

Previous pediatric, school nursing, or related clinical experience is preferred but not required
