Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation license for a Registered Nurse.
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Nurse Endorsement (CSN licensure required).
  • Proven experience in school nursing and knowledge of best practices for student health and safety.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight and guidance on student health needs across all campuses in the district.

  • Perform standard CSN duties, including reviewing health records, supporting compliance with state and federal laws, and consulting on health emergencies.
  • Lead professional development or training for school staff as needed on health-related topics.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality standards.
