Qualifications:

  • Active CNA license and current CPR certification are required
  • Demonstrated experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school or educational environment
  • Ability to monitor and respond to seizure disorders with calm, quick-thinking action
  • Reliable transportation to accompany the student to and from school on the bus route
  • Strong communication skills to interact with school staff and families
  • Compassion, patience, and attention to detail
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated care for a single pre-kindergarten student throughout the morning hours, Monday to Friday
  • Accompany and supervise the student during bus transportation, ensuring safety and responding appropriately to any health needs
  • Monitor for signs of seizure activity and implement care plans as directed
  • Collaborate closely with educators, school nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive support for the student
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any incidents
  • Foster a caring, supportive environment that promotes the student’s comfort and well-being
  • Enjoy working school day hours from 7:45am to approximately 11:15am, allowing for work-life balance.
