Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Current and unrestricted LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in California
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and care plans, a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
  • Skilled in administering medications and managing chronic health conditions (diabetes, asthma, allergies, etc.)
  • Proficient with basic computer skills and electronic health records documentation
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily nursing care, including medication administration and first aid to students
  • Support students with chronic health needs or individualized health plans
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families regarding student health concerns
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records
  • Respond quickly to health emergencies and implement proper protocols
  • Educate students and staff on health topics, hygiene, and wellness practices
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and required reporting
