Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid and current LPN/LVN license for New Jersey
  • Experience in school-based healthcare, pediatrics, or similar settings highly preferred
  • Ability to manage routine healthcare needs and respond to emergencies
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • CPR and First Aid certification (required)
  • Comfortable collaborating with educators, students, and parents

    • Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Administer routine medications, treatments, and first aid according to physician directives and school policy
  • Monitor, document, and address student health concerns throughout the school day
  • Support students with chronic conditions and develop care plans as needed
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to medical emergencies
  • Maintain up-to-date health records in compliance with school and legal requirements
  • Educate students and staff on health topics and preventive care
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as appropriate
