Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualifications:

  • Active Florida LPN license
  • High school diploma or GED and current CPR/BLS certification
  • Fingerprinting required; must complete credentialing (JLA badge issuance can take up to 3+ weeks)
  • School-based experience highly preferred
  • Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills
  • What To Expect:

  • On-site only positions—VOCO/remote is not available
  • 7 hours per day; PRN (substitute/per-diem) roles are always available, with the possibility to move into full-time depending on district staffing needs
  • Orientation and training at the district office, scheduled approximately once per month, mandatory before starting
  • Most LPNs will be assigned to a single campus, tailored to candidates’ experience or preference for age group/grade level
  • Competitive compensation ranges from $29–$30 per hour, recognizing your expertise and commitment to student health.
