Schedule Options:

  • Full-time: 7 hours per day, 5 days per week, focused on office support and medication administration
  • Part-time: 2 days per week (Monday and Wednesday) for diabetic student monitoring and general office support (not 1:1 care)
  • Part-time: 1 day per week (Monday) for office support and medication administration
  • Key Qualifications:

  • Current LPN/LVN license in California
  • Experience working as a school nurse or in a pediatric setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage medication administration, maintain accurate records, and provide first aid as needed
  • Comfortable supporting students with chronic health conditions, including diabetes
  • Empathetic approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer daily, scheduled, and emergency medications as prescribed
  • Monitor, manage, and support students with chronic health needs
  • Provide office-based support, including basic care for minor injuries or illnesses
  • Maintain documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and healthcare providers
  • Support overall health education initiatives within the school as needed
