Step into a vital role as a Registered Nurse in the Little Elm, Texas area, where you'll have the rewarding opportunity to provide dedicated 1:1 care to an elementary school student. This full-time contract position allows you to make a difference each day within a supportive educational environment. The assignment runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, totaling 37.5 hours weekly, and extends through May 27, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license (LPNs will not be considered)
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing tracheostomies and feeding tubes
  • Practical expertise supporting students who utilize American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff

    • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, individualized nursing care to an elementary student throughout the school day
  • Monitor and manage trach care and feeding tubes, responding promptly to any health needs or emergencies
  • Work collaboratively with educational and clinical teams to maintain a safe, nurturing learning environment
  • Document care and interventions accurately and efficiently
  • Be an active participant in student-centered plans and meetings, advocating for their health and educational needs
