Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Minnesota RN license (LSN certification preferred)
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric nursing setting is highly valued
  • Proven skills in developing Individual Health Plans and managing caseloads
  • Strong leadership abilities to supervise and train health aides and paraprofessionals
  • Excellent communication skills for connecting with families and school staff
  • Comfort participating in IEP meetings as needed
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee health services district-wide, including direct supervision of health aides
  • Create, review, and implement health plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Facilitate ongoing training for health staff, paras, and other school personnel
  • Serve as a liaison between families, staff, and outside providers regarding student health concerns
  • Support school teams in meetings, including participation in IEPs as appropriate
  • Working on site approximately 40 hours per week, you’ll play an essential part in coordinating holistic care and wellness initiatives for the district’s students. This rewarding role offers the potential for long-term placement with the district after a successful contract period.
