Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • At least 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Intensive Care setting (CVICU or CICU)
  • Strong clinical skills in cardiac monitoring, critical care assessments, and interventions
  • Ability to manage 1:2 patient ratios safely and efficiently
  • Proficiency in ventilators, hemodynamic drips, and post-operative cardiac care
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert care to cardiovascular patients, including those recovering from surgeries or experiencing cardiac events
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and promptly respond to changes in patient status
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver holistic, patient-centered care
  • Administer medications, manage drips, and operate advanced life support equipment
  • Document accurately and communicate effectively with patients’ families and the healthcare team
  • Uphold rigorous standards of infection control and patient privacy
