Deliver expert patient care as an RN specializing in telemetry in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position requires an adaptable, compassionate nurse with experience in monitoring cardiac patients and responding to rapidly changing health statuses. You’ll play a critical role in supporting recovery and ensuring safety for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted RN license
  • Proven experience in telemetry nursing (RN-Tele)
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms and interpretation
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
  • Ability to respond calmly and effectively in urgent situations
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and documentation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

    • Responsibilities:

  • Assess, monitor, and accurately record patient cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment
  • Implement appropriate nursing interventions for cardiac and critically ill patients
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions, escalating concerns to interdisciplinary teams
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by physicians
  • Provide clear education and emotional support to patients and their families
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment while following infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and allied health professionals as part of the care team
  • Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
