Qualifications:

  • Valid, unrestricted RN license.
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a telemetry (Tele) nursing role.
  • Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and monitoring patients with complex medical conditions.
  • Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
  • Ability to adapt to new electronic medical record systems and hospital protocols.

    • Responsibilities:

  • Closely monitor cardiac and vital signs, recognizing and responding to changes in patient status.
  • Deliver direct patient care in accordance with physician orders, protocols, and established standards.
  • Perform timely, accurate documentation of patient responses, assessments, and interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement and coordinate patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families about treatment processes, medications, and post-discharge care.
  • Participate in department safety and quality initiatives.
