This contract opportunity features 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a 37-bed telemetry unit, supported by an experienced and collaborative team. You’ll benefit from a well-equipped environment, including PCA pumps, advanced IV pumps, and chest tube management, all operating within an advanced EMR system (Meditech).

Schedule:

  • 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Recent experience in a telemetry or similar acute care setting
  • Solid critical thinking, communication, and team collaboration skills
  • Quick adaptability to Meditech EMR preferred
  • Preferred Experience:

  • Central line management and medication drips
  • Heart Cath recovery and bubble studies experience
  • Strong, independent decision-making abilities and a positive, engaged attitude
  • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to telemetry patients with varying acuity
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (including Patient Care Techs and Unit Clerks)
  • Operate unit equipment, administer complex medications, and manage post-cardiac procedure patients
  • Uphold unit policies and best practices to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
