We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with trach care expertise to provide dedicated care to an elementary student, both during the school day and as a bus ride companion to and from their home. Located near North Richland Hills, TX, your day will be focused on delivering clinical care, promoting safety, and empowering student independence within a K-5 caseload.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current, active RN license in Texas (required)
  • Previous experience in pediatric, school, or community health settings preferred
  • Must be trach trained and confident in managing tracheostomy care independently
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude with students, families, and educational teams
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice

    • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care and monitoring to the assigned elementary student throughout the school day
  • Deliver safe trach management and any additional procedures as outlined in the care plan
  • Accompany and supervise the student on daily bus rides to and from home and school
  • Communicate regularly with families and staff to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate documentation of nursing interventions and student progress
