This contract opportunity seeks a Registered Nurse with experience in both the PICU and Progressive Care Unit to provide exceptional care and make a difference in the hospital environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • Recent clinical experience in both PICU and Progressive Care/Step-Down units
  • Ability to assess, plan, and implement care for complex patient populations
  • Strong clinical judgment and rapid response to changing patient conditions
  • Proficiency with documentation and use of current healthcare technologies
  • Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • BLS and PALS certifications required; ACLS preferred

    • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care for pediatric and adult patients requiring intensive or progressive monitoring
  • Monitor, interpret, and respond to vital signs and changes in patient condition
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families, offering education and emotional support
  • Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
  • Maintain thorough and accurate patient records
  • Uphold infection control and safety standards throughout all clinical activities
