Take on an essential role as a Registered Nurse in a dynamic Level 1 Trauma Center, specializing in the Operating Room with a focus on Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures. Contribute your advanced clinical skills in a 26-bed, high-acuity OR known for exceptional patient care and cutting-edge technology.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 am–7:00 pm, day shifts
  • 36 hours guaranteed weekly
  • 1 in 4 weekends, 12-hour shifts
  • One overnight call (11:00 pm–7:00 am for Trauma); specialty team call per team rules

    • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with at least 2 years Operating Room experience; 3 years Level 1 trauma RN experience strongly preferred
  • Proficient in robotics (Davinci Xi), PCNLs, nephrectomies, ureteral reimplants, hysterectomies, cystectomies, colpocleisis, hysteroscopies, and ureteroscopies
  • Comfortable caring for patients across the lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics
  • Experience with surgical specialties: General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma/joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular desirable
  • CNOR certification preferred

    • Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for and circulate/assist in complex surgeries, utilizing specialized equipment like Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and the Intuitive Robot
  • Deliver patient-centered care to a varied patient population with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
  • Effectively respond in high-stress, trauma situations and uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, demonstrating flexibility, accountability, and strong teamwork skills
  • Maintain compliance with all departmental policies and safety protocols, including proper teal hospital-issued scrub attire
