Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity in a large, dynamic Main Operating Room with state-of-the-art technology, serving diverse surgical needs in a supportive clinical environment. This specialized setting, boasting 16 advanced ORs, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join their Operating Room team for a 12-hour day shift position (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), which includes night and weekend call.

Schedule:

  • 12-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Night and weekend call as scheduled

    • Required Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Demonstrated transplant experience
  • Proven clinical expertise in the operating room environment

    • Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of recent OR experience
  • Specialty certification (CNOR or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, especially Meditech

    • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, high-quality patient care throughout perioperative phases
  • Scrub and circulate in a wide variety of procedures, including total joints, spine, transplants (kidney/liver), robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics
  • Collaborate effectively with a skilled interdisciplinary surgical team
  • Uphold strict adherence to unit policies, infection control standards, and hospital protocols
  • Participate in on-call coverage for nights and weekends, delivering prompt response in urgent situations
  • Engage with patients and families for education and support before, during, and after procedures
