Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in the Operating Room to support a dynamic surgical team on a contract basis. This role offers the chance to work in a busy environment equipped with advanced surgical technology, including Stryker systems, and to collaborate with a highly skilled and dedicated staff.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    • Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current RN licensure and BLS certification required
  • Proven competence in Orthopedics, Spine, Davinci, Mako, Globus, and Laparoscopic procedures
  • Previous operating room experience in an acute care setting
  • EMR experience with Meditech preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols

    • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient-focused care across a range of surgical specialties within a four-room OR suite and adjacent Endoscopy suite
  • Work closely with surgeons, surgical technologists, and other nursing staff to maintain optimal operating room function
  • Prepare, monitor, and support patients pre- and post-operatively
  • Ensure all equipment and instruments are used and maintained according to best practices
  • Adhere strictly to infection prevention and safety standards
  • Communicate effectively to ensure seamless patient care transitions
