Schedule:

  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shifts
  • Key Qualifications:

  • Current RN license with prior medical-surgical experience
  • Demonstrated ability in managing a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, positive approach to team care
  • Proficiency in Meditech EMR documentation
  • Flexibility and readiness to operate in both med/surg and oncology settings
  • Preferred Experience:

  • Chemotherapy certification (Chemo cert)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive care to oncology and med/surg patients, employing best practices for assessment, intervention, and evaluation
  • Administer standard medications, including chemotherapeutic agents (for chemo-certified nurses)
  • Participate in patient monitoring using established protocols—vital signs every 8 hours, with increased frequency for remote monitored patients
  • Collaborate closely with charge nurses and teammates to maintain a high standard of patient care
  • Utilize iPhone-based communication systems to streamline care coordination within the unit
