Schedule:

    • Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current RN license with strong clinical assessment abilities
  • Prior experience working in a medical-surgical unit
  • Proficient with IV Pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
  • BLS and NIH certifications required; CPI preferred
  • Confidence in placing IV lines and Foley catheters
  • Ability to document efficiently in Meditech
  • Commitment to exceptional patient experience, including BSSR and hourly rounding
  • Professional appearance in black or royal blue scrubs

    • Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care on the 3rd floor medical-surgical unit
  • Collaborate with unit secretary, patient care technicians, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Manage patient caseloads of 5-6 days or 6 nights per nurse
  • Utilize advanced equipment such as Sara Steady, Wound Vac, Tele Health technologies, virtual sitter equipment, and remote telemetry
  • Provide safe medication administration and monitor patient progress closely
  • Float as needed, primarily within medical-surgical units, according to hospital policy
