Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts

    • Key Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • Strong proficiency in medical-surgical nursing practices
  • Previous experience in a med-surg unit preferred
  • Excellent critical thinking and assessment abilities
  • Skilled in electronic health record documentation
  • Current BLS certification

    • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide holistic, patient-centered nursing care within a medical-surgical unit
  • Perform detailed assessments and execute individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on patient treatment and care progression
  • Monitor patient status, recognizing and responding appropriately to any changes
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and manage IV lines
  • Educate patients and families regarding conditions, medications, and ongoing care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies
  • Support and guide less experienced nursing staff as needed
