A contract opportunity is now available for experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses to support high-quality care in a dynamic emergency department. This role offers a chance to deliver critical patient care across diverse populations, including pediatric through geriatric, within a collaborative clinical team.

Schedule:

  • 7pm – 7am, 12-hour shifts
  • 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly
  • Part-time contract; anticipated duration: mid-November 2026 through mid-February 2027

    • Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 1 year recent experience in critical care, cardiac, or emergency department (2+ years strongly preferred for handling higher patient loads)
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS required for pediatric ER candidates)
  • Proficient in English (read, write, speak)

    • Desired Skills:

  • Strong assessment and clinical skills for all ages and conditions
  • Experience operating emergency equipment and following clinical protocols
  • Competence in safe transfer techniques and body mechanics
  • Diligent with documentation and adhering to documentation guidelines
  • Thorough understanding of patient education, pre/post-operative assessment, and pre-admission testing (PAT)
  • Track record of professionalism, confidentiality (compliant with HIPAA), and dedication to National Patient Safety Goals

  • Perform systematic patient assessments and deliver high-quality nursing care tailored to acute and emergent needs
  • Participate fully in the emergency department’s team-based approach, supporting patient-centered outcomes
  • Ensure comprehensive and accurate charting, including patient education and progression toward outcomes
  • Respond professionally and positively to patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative environment
  • Adhere consistently to safety protocols and contribute to perioperative processes when needed

    $2,211 - $2,419/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
