Schedule/Hours:

Contract assignment; exact hours to be provided.

Qualifications & Experience:

Certification or licensure as a Surgical Technologist/Operating Room Technician (ORT) preferred.

Demonstrated experience assisting in operating rooms and supporting surgical teams.

Strong grasp of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and intraoperative procedures.

Ability to handle instruments, supplies, and medications efficiently and safely.

Solid communication skills to collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other staff.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

Responsibilities:

Assist the surgical team in prepping and executing procedures in the operating room.

Create, maintain, and monitor sterile fields throughout surgeries.

Accurately pass instruments, supplies, and medications to surgeons as needed.

Manage inventory by maintaining and restocking required supplies.

Participate in intraoperative patient care and support functions as assigned.

Adhere to facility protocols and infection control standards at all times.
