Step into a vital role supporting complex orthopedic sports surgeries as part of an expert surgical team. This contract opportunity seeks professionals skilled in Nursing – ORT, Surgical Tech – Non-certified, or Surgical Tech – Certified disciplines, bringing their expertise to fast-paced operating rooms.

Schedule/Hours:

4x10 schedule: 6:15 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.

Rotating days off determined by department needs

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a surgical or perioperative setting

Previous travel experience highly desirable

Ortho-specific surgical experience preferred

Proficiency assisting in orthopedic procedures and familiarity with surgical instrumentation

Certified and non-certified Surgical Technologists welcomed

Excellent communication and adaptability in a multidisciplinary team environment

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain a sterile environment before, during, and after orthopedic sports surgeries

Anticipate the needs of surgeons and assist efficiently with instrumentation, sutures, and equipment

Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other surgical team members to optimize patient outcomes

Actively participate in safety checks, specimen handling, and infection control processes

Manage and track surgical supplies, ensuring all necessary equipment is accounted for

Adhere to all departmental protocols and quality standards

$1,677 - $1,768/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
