Step into a dynamic perioperative environment supporting diverse surgical procedures in a renowned healthcare facility. This contract opportunity is designed for experienced Operating Room Technicians (ORT) who excel in fast-paced, high-acuity settings and are motivated to deliver exceptional patient care within a Level 1 Trauma center.

Schedule/Hours:

6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m.

Includes call, weekends, and holidays

No block scheduling

Qualifications:

Valid certification and credentials as an OR Technician

Proven success as a traveler in previous healthcare assignments

Demonstrated experience working in Level 1 Trauma operating rooms

High proficiency and strong skills in surgical support and sterile technique

Burn unit experience is preferred

Ability to adapt quickly, communicate effectively, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Commitment to upholding safety standards and best practices in perioperative care

Responsibilities:

Assist surgical teams in high-acuity cases, scrubbing and circulating as required

Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring surgical instruments and equipment are available and functional

Facilitate patient positioning and serve as a resource for perioperative best practices

Support the entire surgical process, including intraoperative emergencies

Maintain accurate documentation related to procedures and instruments

Provide support and mentoring to less experienced staff when needed
