Ability to anticipate surgeon and team needs during procedures

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and positive outcomes

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms by setting up sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies

Assist surgeons and nurses during a variety of surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment

Handle specimens, ensure accurate counts, and follow infection control guidelines at all times

Properly care for and operate specialized surgical equipment

Maintain clear documentation and comply with facility policies and regulations

Support and collaborate with teammates to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care
