ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified School Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide 1:1 nursing support for a student in Frankfort, Indiana, for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a compassionate nurse with experience supporting medically complex students who is committed to maintaining student safety and providing consistent care throughout the school day.
Work Schedule:
Full-Time
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–2:45 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment End Date: June 18, 2027
Qualifications:
Active Indiana RN or LPN license required
Experience with G-tube care and tracheostomy care preferred
School nursing, pediatric, or medically complex patient experience preferred
Strong communication, documentation, and emergency response skills
Ability to provide safe, compassionate, individualized nursing care
Must be able to ride the school bus with the assigned student
Key Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care throughout the school day
Monitor the student's health status and respond to medical needs
Provide G-tube care and feeding support according to the student's care plan
Provide tracheostomy care and respiratory monitoring as assigned and authorized
Recognize changes in the student's condition and respond appropriately to emergencies
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and permitted by licensure
Maintain accurate medical documentation and communicate with the student's educational and healthcare teams
Ensure the student's safety during school activities and transportation
Ride the school bus with the student to provide continuous medical support as required
