  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience in a Med Surg setting
  • Strong skills in patient assessment, care planning, and documentation
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

    • Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to adult patients on the Med Surg unit, administering medications and treatments per physician orders
  • Monitor, evaluate, and document patient status, reporting changes promptly
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, procedures, and ongoing care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with facility, state, and federal guidelines
  • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit
