Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Previous experience in a medical-surgical (Med/Surg) setting required
  • Proficient with electronic medical records and standard clinical documentation
  • Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
  • Current BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred

  • Day shifts

    • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care according to established protocols and evidence-based best practices in a fast-paced Med/Surg unit
  • Monitor and document vital signs, administer medications, and perform patient assessments
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, ancillary staff, and other nurses to coordinate and implement individualized care plans
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, post-discharge needs, and preventive health measures
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, adhering to infection control and patient safety policies
  • Respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions and participate in emergency interventions as needed
  • Engage in routine unit meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives
