Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with medical-surgical expertise for a contract opportunity in a dynamic clinical environment. This role focuses on providing high-quality patient care on a med-surg unit and supporting multidisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Schedule:

Night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Key Qualifications:

Current and valid RN licensure (state requirements must be met)

Minimum one year of experience in a medical-surgical nursing setting

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities

Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and documentation skills

BLS certification required; other certifications (such as ACLS) preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients in a med-surg unit

Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care plans

Administer medications and treatments according to protocols and provider orders

Monitor and document patients' status, responses, and progress

Provide patient and family education to ensure understanding of care processes and discharge instructions

Maintain accurate patient records, following all policies and confidentiality standards

Adhere to infection control and safety procedures at all times
