Desired Qualifications:

  • Active LPN/LVN licensure in Virginia required
  • Prior experience in a school environment or with pediatric populations is highly valued
  • Ability to collaborate professionally with educators and families
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, particularly in documenting care and collaborating on IEPs
  • Comfort with conducting evaluations, writing eligibility reports, and participating in IEP meetings
  • Fingerprint clearance required prior to start, according to school onboarding protocols

    • Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on, compassionate nursing care to support a student’s individualized health needs
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with education and healthcare guidelines
  • Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings, including IEPs and eligibility assessments
  • Partner with school support staff such as paraprofessionals or CNAs as needed
  • Follow up on ongoing care plans, adapting to changing student needs as the year progresses
